Children Enrichment Programs
​Help out in our classroom and on field trips. Some responsibilities include:

Reading with students
-
Homework help
-
Assisting with activities
-
Chaperoning students on field trips
-
Participating in gym and/or pool time with students

Volunteer Requirements:
-
Be committed to regular attendance over the course of the program you are volunteering for.

Over the age of 16* (exception for ACCESS Alumni**).

Pass reference and background checks
-
Attend mandatory orientation: Date and Time TBD.
*Volunteers a few months younger may still be welcome upon additional reference checks. **To keep connected with our alumni, we welcome you back as volunteers if you are at least 14 years old and a freshman in high school.

Marketing & Communications
​Help tell ACCESS' stories. Some responsibilities include:​

Taking photos accompanied by a short written story and/or short videos

Uploading photos and/or videos to social media platforms
-
Creating visually pleasing newsletters, flyers, and communication materials.

Volunteer Requirements:

Be committed to regular attendance over a set amount of time as discussed with the directors.

Over the age of 16

Pass reference and background checks

Attend mandatory orientation: Date and Time TBD.

In the past, we've had volunteer ESOL teachers, computer basics teachers, and partnerships with social service agencies.
